Speech Therapy

 

Family Achievement Center (FAC) speech language pathologists evaluate and treat a wide range of speech, language, fluency, voice and swallowing disorders in children, teens and adults. These include, but are not limited to, impairments associated with:

  • Infant/Child Feeding Disorders

  • Swallowing Disorders

  • Receptive and Expressive Language Delay

  • Phonological Awareness/
    Pre-reading skills

  • Disorders in Pronunciation of Speech Sounds

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asberger’s

  • Pervasive Developmental Disorder, Retts

  • Developmental Delay

  • Down Syndrome

  • Voice and Resonance Disorder

  • Stuttering

  • Multiple Sclerosis

 
  • Hearing Impairments

  • Auditory Processing Disorders

  • Cochlear Implants

  • Oral Motor Disorders

  • Cleft Palate

  • Stroke/CVA

  • Dysarthria

  • Traumatic Brain Injury

  • Brain Tumors

  • Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS)

Speech Language Therapy is designed to fit the needs of each individual client. The services we offer include:

  • Feeding and Swallowing Therapy

  • Voice and Resonance Therapy

  • Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)

 
  • Speech and Language Therapy

  • Home Program Development

  • Interactive Metronome (IM) (minimum age of 7 years)
